Job Description
The Levy Group of Companies is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work at our <Location> location in . The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the aggregate sales process, including identifying new business, generating, and pursuing leads, and servicing customers.

Responsibilities
The Outside Sales Representative will:
  • Sell and promote product(s) within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with customers and operating partners
  • Leverage technology available (CRM, Oracle, JWS, etc.) to better manage customer relationships and provide the highest level of customer service and solutions
  • Investigate and provide solutions to customers' product concerns.
  • Identify new markets and target specific accounts and prospects to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Develop new applications and opportunities to maximize customer value and company profitability
  • Leverage market feedback to communicate and support the development of new products and services with Levy's technical experts and management team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, and policies.
  • Analyze market-based on key drivers and recommend direction to GM of Sales and Marketing and Operations Managers
  • Provide product quotes to customers as required and negotiate terms as required
  • Assist customer with delivery logistics
  • Provide technical assistance to meet customer needs.
  • Professionally represents the company at industry, trade association, customer, legislative and technical meetings, and various social and business functions.
  • Engage in a leadership role with technical and working industry/associations committees to effect positive change in line with company objectives.
  • Develop working relationships with key state, county, district, and city engineers, purchasers, QC/QA and Lab personnel, field inspectors, project managers, and specifiers to educate them on aggregates and be their technical resource when questions and issues arise
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Three to five years of sales experience, preferably in outside sales and/or aggregate sales
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent sales experience
  • Able to demonstrate past success at managing the sales process and achieving sales goals
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 20% of the time
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent problem solver who works well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of construction materials and related industries
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Oracle modules including CRM and reporting functions
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds, sit, stand, walk for extended periods
  • Ability to tolerate noise and temperature variations
