We are expanding the Marketing team within the ARO business unit at Ingersoll Rand!

Job Summary: The Marketing Manager, Product Commercialization & Brand is a critical role focused on driving growth. The position will partner with the Marketing and Product Management teams to deliver demand generation; ensuring seamless product commercialization and strong execution of product marketing strategies for the diverse product portfolio of the ARO business unit. The position will develop and execute impactful brand-building campaigns, with focus on compelling positioning, and messaging, while managing a substantial budget. With a global reach, the position holds significant influence over all customer-centric marketing endeavors, ultimately fueling the business units market presence and growth.

A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic work environment, collaborating with product management, engineering, marketing, and sales to develop and implement launch best practices. This role is tailor-made for those who not only seek to leverage their marketing expertise, but are also eager to achieve strong business results.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate global marketing launch activities: manage and report on all activities needed for marketing readiness including creation and sharing of launch packages for new products.
  • Drive new product development: initiate research and collaborate with the analytics team to synthesize data.
  • Champion brand deployment: maximize value extraction from brand positioning for the ARO business unit.
  • Lead product marketing efforts including strategic messaging, content development, product positioning and data-driven decisions for ARO portfolio.
  • Coordinate content management: develop and lead a content management model, overseeing updates to key product content.
  • Establish digital content standards: create standards for digital content, including photos, descriptions, and features & benefits.
  • Manage ARO Trademark, brand standards, collateral, store, and positioning style guide.
  • Cultivate industry insights: engage with key industry organizations to understand and influence industry value drivers and better message to target customers.
Work Arrangement and Travel Requirements:

  • This is a remote job arrangement with travel up to 10%.
  • Preferred locations for this position to reside is Bryan, OH or Davidson, NC.
Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Industrial Distribution Management with at least 5+ years' experience in Marketing and/or Sales roles, preferably in industrial B2B markets. MBA desired.
  • Experience in product positioning, brand management, new product launches, and product lifecycle refresh.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to work projects from start to finish - identify opportunities and drive execution.
  • PC proficient to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and work across other functional peers, other SBUs, and global peers.
