As the Innovation Coordinator at Community Financial Credit Union, this position will play a vital role in managing innovation concepts from ideation to implementation within our Innovation Lab. This role will assist in transforming insights into innovative ideas and driving impact, while ensuring seamless integration and execution of human-centered design strategies.

This position has a starting hourly rate of $28.61, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills.

A Day in the life of an Innovation Coordinator can look like:

  • Assist in the ideation, design, and development of innovative financial products, member benefits, or systems.
  • Support the cultivation of a culture of innovation, collaboration, and delivery across the organization with various teams such as Insights, Innovation, and Impact.
  • Assist in managing the innovation pipeline through coordination and administrative support within the Innovation CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization).
  • Support the strategic direction of Community Financial Credit Union's Insights arm, including assisting in capturing the voice of the member through member panels, surveys, and feedback gathering.
  • Support efforts to drive innovative change across the enterprise, aiding in managing change in the face of organizational resistance.
  • Assist in making cases for proposed innovations and processes, engaging with diverse stakeholders across business and technology.

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience within the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated learning through education achievements and/or innovation-related certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience promoting innovative initiatives in a creative and marketable manner.
  • Passionate about contributing to strategic cross-enterprise innovations that broadly engage business, technology, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting innovation initiatives or teams in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to assist in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


You might also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related program.
  • Experience in supporting financial services industry innovation programs or teams.
