Job Description

Premium Distributors of MI is hiring for a Delivery Driver role in the Lake Orion area. We are looking for prospective candidates with varying levels of experience that would like to join MI's largest beer distributor. Driver will be making deliveries to accounts and providing customer service. High volume routes have assigned help.

Position Title: Delivery Driver - Class A CDL
* Drivers home daily (start and end at distribution center). No overnight stays required.
* 4-Day Workweek! Set schedule Tuesday - Friday shifts starting at 6:00 am (working until route complete) with weekends off
* New well maintained modern fleet of tractors and trailers with all automatic transmission
* Earn up to $60,000 in 1st year earnings

Position Summary:

Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
  • Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
  • Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles
  • Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
  • Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
  • Pick up returned product as required
  • Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
  • Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
  • Complete company training and certifications as required
  • Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
