Job Description

DRIVE AN ACCELERATION TOWARDS ZERO EMISSIONS IN TRANSPORTATION THROUGH BETTER POWER ELECTRONICS.

This position is a critical technical sales leadership role within our Vehicle Electrification Systems business unit focused on delivering power electronics technical breakthroughs, industry leading products, and commercial success through our power electronics investments.

Through optimized verification and validation process, we strongly believe that there is an opportunity to deliver more product performance, efficiency and value as OEMs develop their next generation electric vehicle offerings to fulfill consumer demand that we can further accelerate. You are expected to:

  • Drive daily business work with customers in NA and will support other regions, including RFI, RFQ, quotation and win/award
  • Lead customer project tracking and competitive intelligence in the region and support global competitive benchmarking initiatives
  • Rolling forecast preparation, price negotiation and other daily business work for pursuit and mass production projects
  • Identify, develop and maintain (new) business opportunities and relationship with electric vehicle customers and OEMs
  • Work with cross functional teams to plan customer project annual budget, mid and long term pursuit opportunities, price strategy, and identify target customers
  • Understand customers' new project needs, support sales and product strategies.

Basic (Required) Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years in technical sales, business development and account management roles with a minimum of 2 years in leadership
  • Understanding of power electronics product (Onboard charger, DCDC converter or inverter) components/subsystems.
  • Strong communication skills and customer interface experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, or an Electric Vehicle Start-up is a plus.
