Job Summary

Our Strategy and Insights team is a crucial function within Commercial Operations at Medpace, which is a highly impactful and visible team across the organization. This team is responsible for developing and managing our new business pipeline reporting, award forecast reporting, our sales commissions process and medical expert goal tracking, board reporting which is shared externally with shareholders, and works directly with executive leadership on analyzing data and formulating insights based on strategic initiatives.

The Medpace Strategy and Insights team leverages our strong financial and business acumen, modeling and analytical skillsets, and enterprise BI capabilities to enhance and develop critical reporting and in-depth strategic analysis.


As a Strategy and Insights Intern you will contribute to our ongoing reporting and support initiatives. Through working directly with our S&I Manager and experienced Analysts, you will have interactions with team members across functional areas as well as be involved with hands on reporting development activities.

Responsibilities
    Conduct complex analysis and proactively identify key business insights to assist departmental decision making and preparation for quarterly Wall Street earnings presentations
  • Support ongoing Commercial Operations functions, ranging from preparing recurring reports, ongoing data management, and development of new reporting capabilities.
  • Support our ongoing forecasting process by engaging team members across Commercial Operations, Finance, and Clinical Operations, to ensure up-to-date and accurate new award and backlog forecast.
Qualifications
  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently completing high quality work
  • Ability to work office-based in Cincinnati, OH
  • Considering both full-time and part-time availability
