Description

NaphCare is hiring experiencedAdvanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs/EMTs), or Paramedics just like you at the Wayne County Jail located inDetroit, Michigan. Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN shifts are available.PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Complete intake screening
  • Administer and read PPD
  • Draw blood
  • Assist with examinations
  • Hold a valid CPR card

Qualifications for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

  • Office Lab Assistant License required (Needed only for Nevada.)
  • Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted certification/license in Michigan
  • A valid CPR card
  • A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
