Job Description

This role requires at least one year of experience as a FindLaw Associate Client Executive

The Associate Client Executive, High Value Accounts - FindLaw is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing client relationships in order to achieve client and revenue retention goals within an assigned, territory or team. This will be done by proactive and reactive management for each assigned account, close partnership with Field Consultants, and working cross functionally with all areas of FindLaw and across other Thomson Reuters departments that support our business. The position will be based out of Eagan, MN; Carrollton, TX; or Ann Arbor, MI.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Associate Client Executive, High Value Accounts, FindLaw, you will:

Drive Results for Account Retention and Revenue

  • Achieve monthly retention and renewal targets
  • Develop and execute on strategy to retain assigned client base and associated revenue; assist with renewal portfolio growth
  • Provide first class customer care for all clients through cultivating, maintaining and growing client relationships


Communicate and Collaborate

  • Responsible for managing time and responsibilities, and prioritizing as-needed
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date renewal forecast using business system logging requirements and proper documentation
  • Involved in strategic planning to execute on business objectives, and able to problem solve
  • May train or mentor colleagues


Customer Focus (Relationships - Internal/External)

  • Strong understanding of the customer's needs/requirements and priorities
  • Communicates information effectively, checks for understanding, provides account recommendations to drive retention and growth strategies
  • Responds to non-standard requests from customers; investigates with assistance from others as needed
  • Acts as the primary, internal point of contact for assigned accounts and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders


About You
You're a fit for the role of Associate Client Executive, High Value Accounts, FindLaw, if your background includes:

  • Previous FindLaw client management experience and a four-year degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years client management and/or sales and marketing experience
  • Proven success with retention of client population and associated revenue
  • Well-developed negotiation skills and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially via telephone, required
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through in accordance with service level agreements.
  • An understanding of digital marketing concepts and processes preferred
  • An understanding and/or experience working with the legal industry preferred
