Responsibilities:

Laser Quality Control:

  • Inspect and clean engraved rings and dog tags for silicone particles, ensuring they meet GEODIS standards before shipment.
  • Work with the laser team to maintain consistent engraving quality and efficiency.
  • Receive and sort orders daily from GEODIS's 3PL.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish new items in the system, including measurements, SKUs, and pick front locations.
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality issues, holds, releases, special projects, and requests.
  • Conduct product function testing to customer standards.
  • Review products for accuracy, ensuring they match catalogue and online descriptions and are free of cosmetic defects.
  • Verify correct product labeling and scan for damaged items.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and serve as a liaison to management for account concerns.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound quality assurance for shipments and staging.
  • Maintain quality issue records for analysis and improvement.
  • Coordinate training plans with supervisors and record inspection results.
  • Assist with training and organizational data as needed.

Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work with hands and fingers, stand, walk, talk and hear. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, ambient lighting and extreme temperatures. Specific vision abilities are required for this job. Employee may occasionally work in both an office and warehouse setting, need to kneel or crouch, may be exposed to atmospheric conditions and noise and may need to wear gloves. Employee can be required to crawl, climb, balance or sit and wear safety gloves and/or ear protection.
