Ice Arena Specialist

An Ice Arena Specialist is needed for the Wallace Ice Arena located on the Cranbrook campus. This is a part-time position working less than 20 hours per week. The pay rate is $19.67/per hour.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Resurface and maintain ice, maintain Zamboni machine, clean locker rooms and restrooms, sweep and mop bleachers, clean windows and arena glass, remove trash from all areas of arena, sweep bench area and penalty box, clean parking lot, hook up scoreboard and monitor access to P.A. system, customer service, locker room assignments, crowd control, light mechanical repairs, periodic collection of contract payments, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Ability to learn Zamboni operation required, ice arena experience preferred. Valid Michigan driver's license with satisfactory driving record. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate with ice arena patrons.
