Primary Function
The Training Director will be accountable for the development and implementation of training curriculum and training strategies to support the program's goals; including being responsible for all training programs and ensure that there are two collaborative programs operating at all times: new hire training and refresher training.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values.
Responsibilities
Deliver New Hire and Recurring Training as determined by the Program Director.
Develop and update curriculum as needed.
Communication with Program Managers to identify training needs.
Identify employee weaknesses and develop training solutions.
Responsible for managing, designing, coordinating, and conducting all training programs.
Communicate to trainees and employees the expectation in the performance of their duties.
Drive ICE ERO values and Program philosophy through all training and development activities.
Communicate with ICE COR/A-CORs to ensure that training is meeting program needs.
Motivate employees to be the best they can be in performing their duties and representing ICE ERO.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Possess a bachelor's degree (in a related field such as Education or English is preferred) or five years of relevant experience with proper certification can be substituted for education;
Have a minimum of two years' experience in training coaching and development.
Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.
Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use.
Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.
Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.
Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.
Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be a US citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
ORR or ICE experience
CPR/First Aid certification
Bilingual
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment.
