The mission of the Horizons-Upward Bound (HUB) program is to prepare students who have limited opportunities from the Detroit Metropolitan area to enter and succeed in post-secondary education. HUB academically supports the efforts of the students' home school by providing services that assist students in pursuing and achieving their dreams and goals for their academic endeavors and beyond.
Cranbrook's Horizons-Upward Bound program is currently seeking a College Program & Compliance Manager. They will provide support to students in all aspects of the college admission process including, but not limited to: Developing and implementing workshops about successfully managing the college application process, providing assistance with the financial aid process, providing individual support in the college admissions process, communicating with colleges and universities about the HUB program, facilitating direct access to college representatives, and hosting informational events for students and parents about the college admission process. They will lead an effort to establish a common data system infrastructure across grades and conduct a robust analysis of education outcomes to determine how to enhance programming and ensure compliance with federal grant requirements.
