Lead for developing the Cockpit modules / features roadmaps (but not limited to) in support of the LRP, convergence strategies & anticipated needs of our Customers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Deliver Cockpit module plans to SW platform & product teams who are responsible for module development and execution
  • Drive module complexity reduction and convergence to streamline & simplify the vehicle interface to the outside world
  • Effectively translate emerging technologies to near term applied use cases
  • Collaborate with other Planning functions to ensure SW driven and associated services business outcomes are balanced in the overall LRP investment strategy
  • Manage the work streams for Milestone preparation for Pre-Contract Milestone (PM) & Contract Milestone (CM)Define the scope, perimeter & expected level of performance for modules
  • Establish the economic targets & develop supporting Business Cases
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
  • 12 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry with focus on Planning, Program Management and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Systems: Cockpit and Vehicle Access & Start, Infotainment, Connectivity & EE Architecture
  • Exceptional Organizational skills and task management
  • Strong Program Management skills/experience
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; customer oriented; ability to interact with all levels of management and drive to decision
  • Drive Vehicle team to have a Software first mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Cockpit modules planning experience
  • Supervisory experience leading a global team
  • New feature and technology development experience
  • Product Development engineering experience
  • Brand and Product Planning related experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Strong Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides & Sheets)
