Challenging positions are available throughout our diverse Purchasing organization. These areas include Regional & Global Purchasing Programs, Aftermarket Purchasing, and Supplier Risk Management. Most Purchasing Program Manager opportunities are global in nature and will involve collaboration with Stellantis colleagues in all regions across the world.
The Program Manager is responsible for leading the purchasing program management activities and the sourcing functions for specific programs as they prepare for launch and extending through the life of the program. This position will support the production buyers on purchasing responsibilities for the program and will work closely with cross functional teams including Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Vehicle Cost Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers. It will also act as the liaison between Purchasing and the cross-functional teams.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring purchasing requirements and metrics are met at all program milestones by removing roadblocks, aligning to the program variable and investment targets for purchased components, and assessing program capacities. Additionally, the Purchasing Program Manager will also communicate the vehicle program needs so the team can properly support the program. Providing purchasing's input throughout the various milestones of the development cycle to ensure a successful program will also be expected.
This position will require frequent professional communication with senior leadership. It will also afford the opportunity for career development within the Purchasing organization and with other cross functional groups.
